These terms apply when you use getaotc.com, buy an AOTC product, or apply to or join the Student Blueprint Fellowship. By buying or joining, you agree to them. If you have a question, email YOUR-EMAIL@example.com.
Who can join
AOTC is designed for college students who are 18 or older. A parent or other adult may buy AOTC Complete on a student’s behalf, and the student who uses it must be 18 or older. The Fellowship is open to students 18 and older, by application.
Prices and payment
- All prices are in US dollars.
- AOTC Complete is $47 at the founding price for the first 100 students. After that, AOTC Complete goes to $97.
- Single pillar packs are $19.
- The Fellowship’s founding class is free. Future classes will be $397, or 3 payments of $139.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Your bank may charge its own fees, such as currency conversion.
- If you choose the 3-payment plan, you agree to all 3 payments. Payments stop automatically after the third one. If a payment plan is cancelled or a payment fails before all 3 are paid, access to the class may end.
- We may change prices for future purchases. A price change never affects something you’ve already bought.
What you get
The free lessons. Every AOTC lesson is free to watch on YouTube.
AOTC Complete. All 96 lessons in order with no ads, the full 116-page workbook, all 12 slide decks and a completion certificate. You get lifetime access. “Lifetime” means for as long as AOTC operates the course. If we ever stop offering it, we’ll give you at least 60 days’ notice and a way to download the workbook and slides.
Fellowship credit. Your AOTC Complete price counts toward a paid Fellowship class within 60 days.
Your account is for you. Please don’t share your login or post paid materials publicly. You can print and use the workbook for yourself.
Refunds and guarantees
AOTC Complete: the 30-day See It guarantee
Get AOTC Complete, go through the lessons and the workbook. If it isn’t worth it to you within 30 days, email us and we’ll refund every cent. No questions asked.
To ask for a refund, email YOUR-EMAIL@example.com from the address you used to buy within 30 days of your purchase. We refund to your original payment method, and your access to AOTC Complete ends when the refund is made. Banks usually take 5 to 10 business days to show it.
Single pillar packs. The same 30-day refund applies.
The Fellowship’s founding class is free, so there’s nothing to refund. In return for the free seat, we ask for honest feedback each week.
Paid Fellowship classes: the Finished Project guarantee
Do the work. Finish a project you’re proud of. Or get your money back.
Complete every milestone and attend at least 10 of 12 sessions. If you don’t finish with a portfolio project you’re proud of, we’ll refund your tuition in full. Fell behind for a real reason, like exams or illness? Join the next class free.
To use the guarantee, email us within 14 days after your class ends. We’ll check attendance and milestones, then refund what you paid. If you were on the payment plan, we refund the payments you made.
The Fellowship is education, not a job
The Student Blueprint Fellowship is an unpaid educational program. You won’t be working for AOTC, and no job, internship or placement is promised. You’ll learn a skill, build your own project and get feedback from a mentor. You own your project: it lives on your accounts and in your portfolio. AOTC will only share your work with your permission and with credit to you. Promoting AOTC is never part of the program.
Fellowship seats are limited, and we choose fellows based on their applications. We may remove a fellow who harasses others or repeatedly breaks class rules. In that case, a paid fellow receives a refund for the sessions that remain.
No guarantee of grades, admission or jobs
AOTC teaches skills and helps you write a plan. Results depend on each student’s effort. AOTC does not guarantee grades, admissions, internships, jobs or income. Nothing on this site is professional advice about medical, mental health, legal or financial matters. If you need that kind of help, please talk to a qualified professional.
Our content
The lessons, workbook, slides and site content belong to AOTC. Buying gives you a personal license to use them. It doesn’t let you resell, republish or share them.
Independent program
AOTC is an independent program. It isn’t affiliated with any school, college or school district.
Limits
We work hard to keep the site and lessons available, but we can’t promise there will never be errors or downtime. To the extent the law allows, AOTC’s total responsibility for any claim about a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law that can’t be limited.
Changes and contact
If we change these terms, we’ll update the date at the top. Changes don’t apply to purchases made before the change unless the change helps you. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
